    Six-police officer Ray Mercer (Peter Weller) has just been reunited with his estranged wife Rebecca (Tia Carrere) after years in prison. Rebecca takes Ray to her new workplace at the Cowboy World Casino in Las Vegas, which is owned by Steve Atlas (Dennis Hopper). It is then that she tells Ray of her desire for a divorce.

    While Rebecca is inside collecting her pay, a cleverly planned heist goes into operation. Bored of waiting for his wife, Ray gnters the casino and immediately becomes embroiled in the sudden turmoil. Worried about any possible criminal implications, Ray flees the casino but fearing for his wife's safety, is forced to return. Teaming up with his old police partner, Ray proceeds to investigate the suspicious crime, while at the same time fighting to keep his marriage and wife alive.
