Here is an album that has been put together with "lovin" care". Texas Jim Robertson has saved his fan mail and requests over the years and from them he has picked the twelve country and western sacred songs that have been most requested of him. This is music that Tex loves and sings from his heart.

This love dates back to Sunday church meetings in Batesville, Texas, when Tex as a youngster would give an evening recital, never realizing that he would grow up to be a world famous country and western singer with many golden hit records to his credit.

All the songs contained on this LP have great memories for 6 foot 3 inch star Texas Jim Robertson. Tex was in the Marines and made the long haul from Pearl Harbor to Japan and was with the first outfit to land in Japan with headquarters at Omura. Finally, when peace came, Tex was made chief entertaining artist for the Armed Forces Kyushu Radio Network in Japan. On his first show he sang "Rock of Ages" and "A Cowboy's Dream". From then on the boys kept yelling for more and more.
When you've finished listening to this record, you, too, will be saying more, more. May we recommend another famous LP by Texas Jim Robertson called "Golden Hits Of Country And Western Music", available on DESIGN monaural DLP-115 and on DESIGN STEREO-'SPECTRUM SS-56.
